Björk: Biophilia, Manchester International Festival (2011)

Eight-channel video, floor projection.

I worked as the Director of Photography and Editor with pioneering interactive artist Scott Snibbe and Icelandic musician Bjork to create multiple custom video projection and eight-screen video experiences for the premiere of Biophilia—a month long series—at the 2011 Manchester International Festival. In addition to the overhead video screens, I worked with sound artist Meara O’Reilly and Noah Cunningham to produce cymatic salt patterns projected on the stage floor in response to the base-line of the performance songs. I provided technical and creative support to Scott Snibbe Studio in the creation of the Biophilia App. The video still is from the documentary Björk: Biophilia Live (2014) directed by Peter Strickland and Nick Fenton.
